Somatic Clarity Sessions

Feel motivated and confident in your work - without burning out (again)

Most of the women I work with are brilliant, thoughtful, and deeply capable.

But they don’t always feel that way on the inside.

Maybe right now you’ve realized that in order to have a happy life, you need to do work that actually fills you up. You’re focused on doing something you’re passionate about — and getting paid well for it.

But even in work you care about… there’s still something that doesn’t feel steady.

You oscillate between:

  • Constantly doing too much, putting in hours of effort into every task…

  • …while at the same time feeling like you’re not doing enough.

Even when feedback is good, it’s hard to relax.

Maybe you were taught not just to do well, but to excel — and after excelling, to stay there. It leaves you with a voice that says: “You can’t ever mess up.”

So at the end of the day, when you close your laptop, pick up your kids, or spend time with your partner… you feel completely brain-dead. And it doesn’t feel fair to the people who matter most to you.

And yet, you know how good it feels when you’re in flow at work. When customers tell you how much your work impacts them — that’s where you feel most alive. That’s when you feel the meaning.

What you want instead

  • More of that consistent feeling of being valued, supported, and in flow.
  • To know that when you sit down to work each day, you’re doing work that matters — not just busywork that depletes you.
  • At the end of the week, you want to feel inspired, motivated, and clear. You want to end Friday with energy and confidence still in your tank.
  • To let the “pusher” in you finally rest… so you can create from a softer, more trusting place.

What if this was possible — even in today’s economy, even with AI reshaping the landscape, even with all the uncertainty?

What would happen in your life if you could increase the amount of time you feel connected to yourself and your work… and spend up to 80% of your week in flow?

This is what the Somatic Clarity session was made for

The Somatic Clarity Session is designed to re-pattern your body and nervous system in real time.

Here’s how it works:

  • We use body-based tools to bring your primal brain and your thinking brain into alignment.

  • Instead of looping in the same spirals of doubt, your system experiences an embodied reference point of confidence — something you can return to without effort.

  • You leave the session with a practical anchor and, if relevant, a clear next step that feels aligned.

It’s not about pushing yourself harder. It’s about finding the steadiness your body already knows — and learning how to access it without the over-effort.

I’m proud that I’ve worked through burnout without retreating from work entirely, earned a promotion, and gained the confidence to craft my own path and freedom in my role.

Working with Sher has been transformative. I’ve learned to authentically tune into my nervous system and trust my body’s intuition rather than forcing myself into productivity methods built by other people for other people.

She’s guided me to recognize my blind spots and discover the parts of me that are already brave, helping me act from power and authenticity instead of the “should” mentality that was burning me out.

Most importantly, I feel like I’m leading my life rather than being subjected to it – becoming more myself and learning to respond to life instead of being all-or-nothing.

If you’re considering working with Sher but feeling unsure, try making the decision from your intuition and body rather than logic or fear.

Weigh up the “cost” of spinning your wheels for the next 6-12 months versus the best case outcome of working with her. Honestly? You’d be crazy not to give it a shot.”

What Clients Notice

After a Somatic Clarity Session, women often notice they’re able to:

  • Stop outsourcing confidence to compliments (or silence) from clients.

  • Feel their work energize them again, instead of deplete them.

  • Ground themselves in their value and charge accordingly.

  • Set or hold boundaries with clients without spiraling into guilt.

  • Let go of the pressure to over-deliver — while keeping the high standards they care about.

  • End the workday with energy left for joy, relationships, and life beyond the desk.

“I didn’t need more ideas, I needed space to actually feel what was true to me. Now I know what I want, and I am moving forward to it with less self sabotage."

As a result of working with Sheridan, I’ve been able to achieve things I never thought possible. I got my first piece of written work published, made fundamental changes in two chronically difficult (and important) relationships, and I feel wildly more regulated than I ever did working with countless doctors and therapists over many years. One of the biggest takeaways for me has been the personal integration of genuinely living by the adage of 'how we do one thing is how we do all things.' This work has had an incredible ripple effect on my leadership, decision-making, and confidence. Sheridan’s intuitive and master-level coaching makes me feel safe, seen, and supported, especially as we dive into deep and transformative work. I now approach leadership and personal growth with more clarity and ease than ever before.

On timing

  • I only work with a few clients at a time. Once full, I won’t reopen until my clients choose to finish their work with me.
  • If your body already knows, waiting might just create more fog.

What Type of Somatic Coach Am I?

I’m a somatic burnout coach, certified yoga therapist, meditation facilitator, and bestselling author of Somatic Intelligence for Success.

I came to this work the hard way.
By 2018, I’d lived through deep personal losses, founded a nonprofit feeding hundreds daily, and still found myself quietly unraveling. The exhaustion followed me into my own business — through every strategy, certification, and “fix.”

It wasn’t until late 2022 that I stopped trying to optimise my way out and began rebuilding from the inside: meeting my nervous system instead of overriding it.

Now, I support sensitive, high-capacity women to do the same — to lead, build, or pivot from a place of steadiness, without betraying their depth.

This isn’t a space for bypassing or quick plans. It’s where you bring the questions you’ve been circling and learn to live from your center, not from fear.

(click me) What are your qualifications?

  • Practitioner and teacher of nervous-system-based approaches since 2016
  • Certificates in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Yoga Psychology, and Psychological Safety Implementation (ISO 45003)
  • Graduate Diploma in Psychology (in progress)
  • Certified Yoga Therapist, Ayurveda Wellness Coach, Meditation Facilitator
  • Bachelor of Arts in Community Development & International Sustainable Aid

You’ve likely already done a lot — therapy, courses, coaching, even nervous system work. And still… something feels unfinished.

This isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone else.
It’s about being met exactly where you are and moving gently from there.

We’ll work to help you:

  • Make decisions without overthinking.
  • Share your work without post-visibility vulnerability crash
  • Adjust pricing or workload without guilt
  • Follow through on your “yes” — even when it’s scary

This is not about becoming someone new.

It’s a slow, safe return to the woman you’ve already become — and letting her lead.

“If you’re looking for something truly bespoke (not a script, not a system, but support that meets you where you are) work with Sheridan.

She has a way of reflecting your blind spots with so much clarity and care that you can’t help but grow. It’s not always comfortable — and that’s the gift.

Sheridan blends intuitive insight with grounded, no-fluff guidance. She’ll call you forward with love, and help you learn to trust yourself more than any external ‘expert.'”

nervous system career and business coaching testimonial

Simran - Financial Advisor

“I was burned out, second-guessing everything — even considering going back to the job that broke me.

I was tired, unsure if I wanted to build something new or just retreat to what felt familiar, even if it wasn’t right.

Sheridan helped me slow down enough to actually hear what my body was saying, while gently guiding me toward possibilities I couldn’t yet see. Her questions landed. Her tools worked. And everything was paced in a way that honored what I needed.

Because of our work together, I gave myself space to travel, reconnect with what I truly wanted, and eventually stepped into a new role in tech that feels aligned with who I am now.

For the first time in a long while — at home in my own life again.”

software engineer testimonial burnout coaching

Cynthia - Software Engineer

“You told me I wouldn’t be the same person by the end — and you were right.

Through this journey, I started listening more closely to my intuition and discovered a deeper Self with purpose. I stopped outsourcing my decisions and started trusting my inner voice — which led me to make a 180-degree turn.

I’m now building my own technology, launching next year — something I wouldn’t have imagined before this. My mindset, my energy, and my life have all shifted.

This experience with Sheridan was truly life-changing. I’ve already shared it with friends and colleagues — because if you’re even considering it, it’s a must-do.”

“I was already working with a coach… but I needed something deeper.

Sheridan’s work brings nervous system regulation into business and leadership in a way I had never experienced before.

Since working together, I feel more present, more grounded, and more capable in every part of my work. My decision-making has shifted, my stress response is calmer, and I’m building resilience I didn’t know I had access to.

If you’re a high-achiever who wants to lead with clarity and ease — without burning out — Sheridan’s work is the missing piece.”

Got questions? I have answers.

Have you ever left a session feeling clearer in your mind… but just as tense or foggy in your body?

Most approaches start in the head — pro/con lists, productivity tools, even well-meaning “healing” spaces that quietly push for faster clarity. But if your nervous system isn’t ready, those insights can fade or feel impossible to act on.

What happens when we start somewhere else? When we let your body set the pace?
In our work, we begin with your nervous system’s truth — the place where real capacity builds. From there, the fog lifts on its own. Decisions stop feeling like traps. And clarity isn’t something you force; it’s something you recognize.

So maybe the better question is:
What would change if your next step felt safe enough to actually take?

What if the real shift isn’t just what you “get,” but what you can finally hold without crashing after?

That depends on what your system needs most.
For some, it’s the first decision in months they can trust — without looping on it for days.
For others, it’s a work rhythm that protects their sensitivity without shrinking their income.
Sometimes it’s a role or business restructure that finally matches who they’ve become.

Often, it’s capacity:
To show up visibly and powerfully without the post-performance collapse.
To sleep through the night.
To wake with energy that lasts.
To see a calendar that feels human again — and know it’s not a fluke.

So maybe the better question is:
What would feel possible if you could trust your clarity and your capacity at the same time?

Have you ever felt like something’s off… but you can’t name it?

You don’t need a perfectly clear problem statement to begin. Sometimes the most powerful work starts with nothing more than a whisper, an ache, or a quiet sense that “this isn’t working anymore.”

We’ll start there — without rushing to define it or forcing it to make sense too soon. I’m trained to hold that space with you, to follow the threads your system reveals in its own timing.

Because when we stop pushing for the answer, the real one finally has room to arrive.

Maybe what you really want to know is — Can you trust me to hold you here?

I draw from a wide lineage — formal education, professional training, and years of embodied practice — but also from the art of listening deeply, especially when you don’t yet know what’s wrong.

Formally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development & International Sustainable Aid, with a focus on resilience, systems change, and the emotional layers of social justice. I’m a Certified Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist (The Embody Lab), trained in elements of Somatic Experiencing, the Hakomi Method, and Internal Family Systems, with guidance from teachers including Richard Schwartz, Pat Ogden, Dr. Scott Lyons, Dr. Arielle Schwartz, Nkem Ndefo, and Dr. Albert Wong.

I’m also a trained Yoga Therapist through Ashley Turner’s Yoga Psychology program — bridging psychology and body-based practices — and certified in Ayurveda Wellness Coaching through Shakti School. My current studies include a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and an Advanced Diploma of Neuroscience for Leadership, expanding how I integrate brain-based leadership, resilience, and nervous system science into this work.

Since 2016, I’ve been practicing and teaching nervous system–based approaches, and I’m trained in psychological safety implementation under ISO 45003 — frameworks essential for leadership, workplace wellbeing, and reducing burnout risk.

Beyond the credentials, what shapes my work most is this:

  • The way I sit with you in the not-knowing.

  • The way I don’t rush your clarity, grief, or becoming.

  • The way we move at a pace your body can actually hold.

Because qualifications matter — but what matters most is that you feel safe enough to let change happen.

Have you noticed how burnout convinces you there’s never enough time — even for the things that would actually help?

That’s why we start by creating space in your system first, not your calendar.
When your nervous system is overcapacity, even one more “good thing” can feel like pressure. So our work is designed to fit inside your existing rhythm, without adding to the overwhelm.

Sometimes that looks like a single, focused session to steady you before a big decision. Other times it’s a framework that unfolds over weeks — in ways that feel doable, not draining.

Because this isn’t about finding more hours. It’s about making sure the hours you already have aren’t burning you out.

Have you ever invested in something… therapy, coaching, all the “right” things — and still ended up feeling… off?

That’s a valid fear. And it’s often not because you didn’t work hard enough — it’s because the approach never met your nervous system where it actually was.

Here’s what’s different:
We don’t just talk about change. We work directly with your body’s signals, your rhythms, and your real-life capacity. We track progress in ways that matter to you — sleep that returns, energy that holds, boundaries you can keep — not just vague “feel better” goals.

And this isn’t a formula you have to squeeze yourself into. It’s a partnership. We adapt. We pause. We recalibrate. You’re never locked into something that isn’t working for you.

So maybe the better question is: What would it be worth to know the work would move at the exact pace your system can hold?

If your workplace offers a professional development or wellbeing budget, yes — many clients have used that.

If you’re worried about confidentiality and invoicing, I’ve got you covered. All sessions are private, secure, and we can arrange NDAs if needed. Your HR doesn’t need to know the details — just that you’re working with a specialist in nervous system-based leadership and burnout recovery.

Are you worried this only applies if you’re building something or certain about your career path?

You don’t need a five-year plan to be here. Many of my clients are entrepreneurs or leaders, yes — but just as many are in transition, questioning whether they even want to stay in the roles they’ve worked so hard for.

Whether you’re pivoting, stepping back, or simply wanting to feel like yourself again, we start there. The goal isn’t to push you toward a business outcome — it’s to help you find alignment with your system, your soul, and your next right step… whatever that turns out to be.

Because the real work isn’t about the title you hold — it’s about whether your body can hold you in it.

My consultation with Sheridan was very insightful and grounding. I've had a few consultations before but with Sheridan I really felt deeply seen and heard for the challenges I am facing. I never felt rushed or that I was taking too much of her time, which is super important for me!! When we started, I felt confused and unclear about my direction forward in business, yet with her curious + powerful questions and warm responses, I felt called forward into clarity and decisiveness. There was a special safety and openness to be vulnerable in our conversation that was deeply nourishing for me. I feel a plethora of feelings from the insights I took away, all of them positive!  I highly recommend having a consultation with Sheridan or booking with her for her service if you desire to feel seen and recognized and guided forward to discover for yourself your next steps with her. Thank you to you Sheridan, I deeply appreciate your time and wisdom shared.
