Work Doesn’t Have To Cost All Your Energy

A 5-week energy management program to help you work sustainably inside your real constraints. Especially for neurodivergence and cPTSD.
For women who are insight-saturated and “doing everything right,” but still feel depleted, foggy, or stuck in decision fatigue.

This will resonate if…

You’ve already done a lot of inner work. Therapy. Coaching. Spiritual practices. Systems. You understand yourself well.

And still, work takes more energy than it seems to take other people.

You might notice it in small, unglamorous ways:

  • By mid-afternoon, your thinking gets foggy and every decision feels heavier than it should.
  • You can get through meetings and responsibilities, but once the day ends, your body drops — clammy, flat, or completely spent.
  • You watch others move through full days with energy left, while just getting through costs you more.
  • Maybe you think something like “All of my neurotypical friends seem to have enough energy to just get through the day — to do all the things. But I don’t.”
  • You’ve spent years adapting — masking, adjusting, fitting yourself into what’s considered “normal” at work.
  • You hold it together professionally, but that constant self-monitoring quietly drains you.

You’re not confused about why this is happening.

  • You know your patterns.
  • You’ve embodied techniques.
  • You’ve done the insight work.

And yet, the relief never quite lands in your body.

What you want now isn’t another framework or identity shift.

You want work to feel lighter inside your system.

  • To finish the day with energy left.
  • To think clearly without forcing focus.
  • To breathe freely again

You might even notice a familiar tension when deciding whether to invest in something new:

Logically, you hesitate — especially if you’ve already spent a lot on support, but your body feels a quiet yes.

This program is for that moment — where insight is already there, but your nervous system needs a different kind of structure to catch up.

Over the next 5 weeks, you will explore how to reduce
the energetic cost of functioning, so you can work, think, and relate without constantly bracing or performing.

So work can feel steadier, breathable, and finally sustainable — without trying harder.

This is not the program for you if

If staying present and regulated requires real-time relational support, this course will likely feel frustrating or insufficient.

Examples of scenarios that will require more support:

  • When pressure builds, your mind goes blank, your body freezes, or you shut down and can’t move forward without someone present.
  • Your capacity has been limited for a long time, not just during busy weeks — even small tasks can feel blocked or impossible.
  • Anxiety, family dynamics, trauma history, or long-term vigilance mean your nervous system stays on alert, even when you “know better.”
  • You’re often the one holding things together for others, and your system doesn’t fully switch off because responsibility never really drops.
  • You tend to doubt every decision, replay interactions, or feel pressure to get things “right” before you can act.

This program is educational and self-directed. It doesn’t replace therapy or 1:1 nervous-system work.

In that case, a relational container is the safer place to start.

Why This Approach Works

You’re not missing insight (I’m sure you’re using AI, IG and books to understand yourself).

What’s been missing is a way for your nervous system to use what you already know when it matters, during pressure, decisions, and demand.

This program gives you a simple, repeatable structure to:

  • Notice energy shifts before they cost you
  • Reset sooner instead of pushing through
  • Make decisions from steadiness, not effort

Over time, the things that used to feel difficult start requiring less force because your body has embodied new patterns of being. Ones that insight cannot teach, only practice can.

Sheridan Ruth — somatic coach, nervous system educator, bestselling author, and psychology postgraduate.

This work draws on neuroscience, somatic psychology, and systems design — translated into tools you can actually live with.

Underneath the credentials is a simple belief: you’re not a problem to fix. When we fit work to your wiring (body, brain, and context) energy becomes renewable, creativity returns, and life feels like yours again.

What we'll focus on over 5 weeks

This is a structure you practice over time, not a course you need to tick off the list.

Across five weeks, we’ll work with a small set of repeatable focuses:

You don’t need to “keep up” or progress in order. Each piece stands on its own.

Time Commitment

The weekly structure takes about 1.5–2.5 hours. If that doesn’t fit right now, trust that. This work will still be here when your system has more room.

What this actually changes

This program helps you:

  • Reduce the internal effort it takes to get through the day — so work doesn’t leave you foggy, tense, or flat by evening.
  • Recover faster after stress, like a difficult meeting or feedback, without needing to process or unpack it emotionally.
  • Stop create-and-crash work cycles, where focus swings from hyper-productive to blank.
  • Set boundaries that hold because they’re based on your real capacity, not what you think you should manage.
  • Redesign how you work — your pace, recovery, and decision-load — so your system supports you instead of fighting you.

This isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about making work lighter inside your body, within the life you already have — your role, your hours, your responsibilities, and your limits.

What you can expect by the end

  • You finish more days with energy left.
  • Stressful moments pass through faster instead of sticking.
  • Focus steadies without constant self-management.
  • Boundaries feel cleaner and easier to hold.
  • You regain that quiet sense of “I can handle this.”

Not by changing who you are —
but by working with how your system actually functions.

How It Works and Investment

This five-week program combines short audio lessons, guided somatic practices, and structured reflection. Each week builds on the last, helping you translate insight into daily habits that keep working long after we’re done.

  • 5 weeks, closed container
  • 1.5–2 hours per week
  • Self-paced and asynchronous

Each week includes:

  • One short lesson (8-30 min)
  • One brief body-based practice
  • One optional private reflection

You can move at your own pace and revisit any module anytime.

  • Starts: Selfpaced. As soon as you register.
  • Duration: 5 weeks
  • Format: Asynchronous
  • Investment: $247 USD

If your system says “not now,” trust that. This work will still be here.

Before Your Decide

You don’t need to be motivated, inspired, or “ready.”

This program works best if you:

  • Are already functioning, but over-efforting

  • Want work to take less energy, not more meaning

  • Prefer clear structure over emotional support

  • Are looking for steadiness, not transformation

There’s nothing to prove, track, or perform. If this feels like a relief, the program will likely fit.

FAQ

Yes. The program is fully self-paced. All lessons and practices are pre-recorded and available immediately. There are no required live sessions.

That’s fine. Everything is asynchronous. You can move through the material at your own pace, on your own schedule.

Most people spend around 1–2 hours per week, including short lessons and simple practices. There’s no extra homework or ongoing tracking required.

No. This isn’t insight work or emotional processing. It’s about translating what you already understand into changes your nervous system can actually use during the workday.

No. This is nervous-system education and applied tools for work and daily life. If you need therapy or attuned 1:1 support, this program isn’t designed to replace that.

No. The program is designed for people whose nervous systems are sensitive, easily overloaded, or prone to over-effort — regardless of labels or diagnoses.

There’s nothing to keep up with. This isn’t a course to complete. You’ll have ongoing access and can return to any part when it’s useful.

Yes. A core focus is noticing energy shifts earlier and resetting sooner, so effort converts into steadier focus rather than burnout.

No. The program is private by default. There’s no requirement to share personal information or participate in group discussions.

It’s practical. We use clear language around energy, focus, recovery, and boundaries, with simple applications you can use immediately at work.

This program is not a good fit if you regularly freeze, dissociate, or lose choice under stress and need real-time relational support to stay present. In that case, 1:1 support is a better starting point.

Often, yes. Many people use professional development or wellbeing budgets. An invoice can be provided.
