If you have shame or guilt or a stickiness or anger towards any past investments that you have made,  there are three key steps that you can take into account so that you can look back on those investments, feeling really, really proud of yourself and feeling a lot of wisdom.

In today’s episode, we’re going to be looking at The trauma informed approach to the coaching industry and bad coaching investments as well as a very empowering mindset that you could have so that you can feel in the position of an empowered being and you can reclaim all of that energy and all of that power back and move forward with resiliency and self compassion and kindness and grit and empower.

To achieve all of your dreams.

What I’m about to share with you is simultaneously going to be very encouraging and it’s going to feel like a sweet balm of nectar on the parts of you that are sensitive about your past investments.  It is also going to pull you forward into  a stronger version of yourself that I know that you see and you feel inside,  that really achieves a lot of what you’ve been looking to achieve. Really has that podcast or the book or travels or is the panel speaker or has the clients and feels really good and great after all of your client calls.  that means that I have to act both as a loving, kind, compassionate trauma therapist and also as an empowering coach.

the three keys or the three phases to pass through in order to heal from bad coaching investments. Number one is forgiveness. This has to come first. Healing occurs or ease occurs. Ease and healing, which basically frees up the creative energy that we, that we want and desire to reach our dreams and goals.

It’s so simple, it’s so simple, but it occurs from a place of forgiveness and love and compassion and benevolence.  That’s the place where things change because when you’re embodying that inside of yourself, there’s enough space inside to create new neural pathways and there’s enough space inside to start changing.

There’s enough space inside to access. Your wisdom.  And so you really,  you need to forgive yourself.  Even if, even if you’re like, ah, but I don’t think I need it. Yes. Yes. You need to forgive yourself if you have any type of criticism,  if you’re ruminating,  if you’re talking to people about these things, if you’re Annoyed at your, at the person who was involved in this bad investment.

If you’re  annoyed,  uh, at yourself, you have to forgive yourself for making that decision or forgive the other person  for doing that thing.  And it’s really important for him. And this is my trauma therapist hat on, where we have to understand that inside of a lot of, especially in this coaching industry, it’s  there is both sometimes financial trauma that occurs.

And there’s manipulation that can occur. I would say 75 percent of my clients have come to me having experienced some type of manipulation or financial trauma in their experience. Working with coaches or even therapists,  you know, people saying one thing and delivering on another people, utilizing information, um, to manipulate them into making a purchase, um, urgency and things like that.

These things will occur. That’s not the topic of this podcast.  That’s something that we touch on in podcast number 114  called investing in coaching, how to avoid being gaslit into purchasing.  So that’s really important.  In that podcast, in 114, we do touch on your, Ability to make decisions with discernment based on the wisdom of your body and how really the way part, the way forward is to have that regulation and have that discernment and being able to read your body compass to know how to make an empowered and informed body based decision  you’re moving into any investment. but the purpose of forgiveness  is to wipe the sink clean so that you can learn the lesson from that experience because it is through that wisdom that you will be able to look back on your past financial decisions and all of your investments and feel that warm sense of self love of wisdom, pride in that past version of you.

There’s no pain towards you or the other person.  It’s just wisdom and joy and pride and flow and ease.  I have recorded a meditation for you, 141 on forgiveness. This meditation will be one of the tools that you can support yourself with  as you’re finding forgiveness for yourself  and for anyone else involved.

And maybe even God. or the universe or whatever it is that you relate to or don’t relate to.  The second step, and I’ve already hinted on it, is to learn the lesson. Extract the wisdom. That investment told you something. You learned something about yourself. It gave you some level of wisdom.

An example of that would be, I have a client who invested in a coach a little while ago and she knew in her body that  she knew in her body that  she wasn’t here to do business the way that other people were meant to do business.   However,  naturally, normally it’s okay. She  fell into her own fear and then she fell into the certainty that somebody else was presenting around a structure.

They would teach her this specific way to launch this specific thing. And she would have this specific patient’s pressure structure. And. She was like, okay, cool. So she, she purchased it  and she hated it as soon as she was in it. As soon as like the doors opened to the, it was like a group thing. As soon as the doors opened, she immediately knew that this wasn’t for her.

And unfortunately she’d already made a commitment to pay. So she had to make that decision to not engage. With it because she knew it wasn’t her and she had made that, , she’d made that decision out of alignment, but what it did was it further integrated  the belief in the understanding inside of her, that her innate way of doing things, the way that her body wants to do things, her way of doing things.

Yes, it is different.  To other people’s way of doing things, but  it is the most effective. It is different and it is the most effective. So now that we are working together, she has that sense of that core identity and that core trust inside of her body. So concrete because she’s had this other experience where she tried to do it another way and she wasn’t able to, it wasn’t effective.

She got burned out. Everything fell off. This is now so concrete inside of her that our work is very easy. It’s just, I support her and I make it just easier for her to tap into that. And I bolster her and I strategize with her and I give her the extra confidence to go and do the things.  And so there is a level of wisdom.

What did you learn from that experience? This helps me. This makes me touch on number three,  And this is the part where I am aware that for some of you that’s going to be really painful if you have experienced some type of financial trauma and you’re coming to this from that, , very, very fragile, tender place. This may not be the information that you need right now. I recommend that you really focus on step one, forgiveness, clear up some energy and then come back to me.

Clear up some space and then come back to me.  Once again, that podcast is 141, a trauma informed meditation on forgiveness and an episode that would be really helpful for you. If this piece of wisdom isn’t helpful is 114  investing in coaching, how to avoid being gaslighted into purchasing. So we’ve got  number one.

Forgiveness. Number two, extract wisdom. Number three, understand that you don’t always get what you want. You get what you need. The nature of the psyche is to heal itself. Therefore it will create scenarios. It will attract what it needs in order for you to see what is happening inside of your psyche and heal.

Carl Jung, um,  has that famous quote that is the central, the central, Uh, essence of all union psychology, which is until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.  So what we’re doing sometimes with these decisions is we are making the unconscious conscious.

Therefore we are seeing different parts of ourselves. We are integrating what we discover into the conscious personality.  So the part of us, perhaps that is completely not okay with doing things the way that somebody else didn’t. Wonderful. Let’s embrace that. Let’s do it your way.  Or maybe you get to see your really angry, ugly parts.

Maybe you see the parts of yourself where you’re not congruent with your words and your values and desires. It’s up to you to extract that wisdom from that and move forward.  These are the shadow parts of ourselves. Um, and sometimes it can actually feel like the life events are happening to us and pulling us forward into these things from the outside.

But it is a psyche that inside of us that is attracting this experience.  It might seem like fate, but it’s us. That’s causing it. Our subconscious is. creating and propelling us more forward to have these things until we learn that lesson.  So the more that we can extract the wisdom and understand that we did get what we needed,  it may not have been what we consciously wanted, but we did get what we needed.

Then the less we’re going to be kind of subject to all of the emotional ups and downs. And the less we’re going to feel like we’re stuck in that, the more space we’re going to have to Look back on that decision and love it so much, so much.  So I really recommend that you listen to podcast number 141, the meditation podcast number 114 on being gaslit into purchasing at current.
